Toll Free Support
We provide excellent customer service, featuring a toll free phone number and can usually resolve any question within 1 business day. We also can provide an analysis of your data via an import/export facility built into every version of QuikWater.
There are no hidden costs. All of our proposals include training and any miscellaneous associated costs, even the price of post cards.
Buy What You Need
No need to 'buy ahead'. Select the version that fits your utility now, and upgrade later if you need. The full purchase price of your software will be credited when you upgrade to a higher version.
We offer an Apple iPad interface for visual read meters, not a proprietary, expensive solution. We also have interfaces to all of the field units supplied by the meter manufacturers.
All QuikWater software products feature an easy to learn, graphical report generator that allows you to customize your bills, demand letters and shut off notices, and all reports can be sent to a variety of file formats. You can use any Windows® compatible printer to print your bills and you may use postcards or choose from an assortment of letter sized formats and use your own letterhead.
How Do You Handle User Training?
Each QuikWater product comes with a number of training hours included in the initial quoted cost. These training sessions, along with the normal documentation, are usually enough to get you up and running in a short period of time.
How Many Customers Can I Have In QuikWater?
There is no limit imposed by the software design. Performance on larger, networked systems is a matter of hardware design. For single user systems, most customers are in the under 25,000 customer region.
Are There Annual Update Fees For QuikWater?
Yes. New updates to the products and documentation occur at least twice a year. These are optional but highly recommended due to the ever changing operating system environment. If you sign up for the update service, you also receive unlimited online QW data backup storage. In the event of a computer crash, we will send you the most current backup from our servers.
What About Continuing Support Costs?
If you have a complex system and would like toll free unlimited telephone and internet support options we have those as well. These are support contracts and include the update services as well. Costs vary depending on which QW product you have, how many users you have, and the number of customized forms we are supporting for your system.
Can The Bill Format Be Changed?
We have dozens of templates already designed for the various versions of QW. If you need additional customization, there may be a programming charge for this. Customers may also utilize training time slots to go over how to edit the bill layout themselves for minor modifications. All bills, demand letters and shut-off notices are user editable in QuikWater using a graphical report generator that is included in the software.
Do You Have A Portable Unit For Readings?
Yes. We have and application that runs on the portable, handheld computer from Janum® for entering your meter readings. This application is free and works with QW Rural and Net-5 versions of the software. There is no interface for QW Ultra-Lite. We will set up the Janum on your computer, included in the cost of the handheld.
Which Metering Interfaces Does QuikWater Support?
We currently support systems from Neptune, Badger, Sensus, Hersey, Itron, Boson, American Water, Master Meter, and VersaProbe. Others will be added if needed. There is also a customizable file exchange format that you can tailor to meet your specific needs.
