Software Approach
Our software runs on the most popular type of computers, those compatible with the Intel Pentium and dual core processors, for both single user and multi-user applications.
All of our QUIKWATER products are designed to run on the 32 bit and 64 bit operating systems from Microsoft, starting with Windows 95. Ram memory usage is extrememly efficient, with requrements on some systems as low as 32MB for the QUIKWATER application. This provides the user with a middle of the road hardware requirement of 512MB, the same recommended for the XP Pro operating system.
The 'NET' designation of the QUIKWATER product insures compatibility with multi-user, LAN based networked systems. Therefore, an implementation for a single user system today can be migrated to a server system with a simple upgrade to a high er level QUIKWATER product.
Any standard printer that works with Windows will work the the QUIKWATER software products. Reports are generated "on screen" in a preview mode first, you select which pages and which printer. Additionally, all reports are able to be sent to files directly from the report generator preview menu.
Other features of the built in graphical report generator allow you to edit the bills, demand letters and shut off notices to meet the needs of your utility more precisely. Several basic formats for bills are available to you, and our staff is also available for customization projects.
